The overwhelming support shown at the Burnet County Flood Relief Concert was nothing short of inspiring. More than 350 community members came together, raising over $89,450. These funds are going directly to individuals and families impacted by the devastating July 4th floods. Among those leading the way were members of the Rotary Clubs of Marble Falls, Burnet, and the Texas Hill Country Passport, whose dedication and service exemplify the spirit of “Rotarians in Action.”
The Ark of the Highland Lakes, which has been coordinating recovery efforts, initially opened 507 cases for those affected. To date, they have successfully closed 156 cases and continue assisting with 351 active cases.
Here are some additional highlights from the recovery efforts so far:
- RVs / Mobile Homes – 114 cases (94 closed, 20 open), 12 RVs provided
